I was born in Bordeaux (France), but spent my childhood in Grenoble (France) close to the French Alps. After performing my Master’s studies in Strasbourg (France) and in Quebec, Qc (Canada), I joined in 2004 the laboratory of Pr Laurence Zitvogel. My PhD work focused on the molecular mechanisms underlying the immunogenicity of radiotherapy and chemotherapy. Our mouse and human studies provided evidence of a Toll-like receptor 4- dependent contribution of the immune system to the efficacy of conventional anticancer therapies. I then joined the laboratory of Dr Kuchroo as a postdoctoral research fellow in August 2008. I currently work on the regulation of T cell responses by Tim-3 and its ligand, galectin-9. I am also working on developing a Tim-3-deficient mouse model on the C57BL/6 genetic background. |
